'The LEGO Movie' had no right being any good. It was a movie, based on bunch of toy blocks. But, not only was it a good movie, it was a great movie. And, not only was it a great movie, it was one of the biggest movies of the year, beating out 'Transformers' and 'X-Men' movies. We're here to take a look at one of the biggest surprises of the year and some very interesting facts you might not know about 'The LEGO Movie' in the latest episode of You Think You Know Movies. But, first....where are my paaaaants?

While the majority of 'The LEGO Movie' was CG animated (as opposed to stop-motion animation), the animators used actual existing LEGO pieces to create everything you see on film (minus some special character-specific pieces like Lord Business' hair). In fact, if they had created the entire film with actual LEGO blocks, it would've taken over 15,000,000 bricks and 200 mini-figures. Oh snap!

'You Think You Know Movies?' is a ScreenCrush original series that dives deep into the cinematic worlds of your favorite movies and freeze frames a few tidbits you might not have known. We've already tackled 'Star Wars,' 'The Avengers' and 'Spider-Man,' but now it's time to focus our attention on that one movie you just can't get enough of watching over and over and over (and over...) again.

Don't be a blockhead, chill out and watch the latest video!
