Evansville Regional Airport announced that American Airlines has scheduled a major upgrade to their Dallas service, including larger jest and first class seats.

These changes are scheduled to start on April 4, 2017 and will affect weekday Dallas flights as well as one Saturday flight. The new aircraft has a total of 76 seats and includes nine first class seats. The current flights to and from Dallas use an aircraft that only seats up to 50 passengers. According to the Evansville Regional Airport, the larger jets represent an increase of more than 14,000 departing seats annually and approximately 30,000 extra seats to the Evansville market.

The nonstop service between Evansville and Dallas has become a very popular travel option. With these upgrades, American Airlines recognizes the community's support for our airport and the Dallas service, and they are showing their confidence in our market.
