Kim Kardashian to Join the Cast of Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’

In what I assume is an attempt to prove to the world that she's more than just a pretty face who has no discernible talent (although Ray J may beg to differ), Kim Kardashian has reportedly signed on for a recurring role on season 4 of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva.

Since I don't watch the show myself (it's on Lifetime, remember?), a quick search on IMDB.com tells me that the show centers around an "aspiring model killed in a car crash" being "brought back to life as an intelligent, overweight lawyer, hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty." Wow...just, wow.

Yahoo TV, citing a report from The Hollywood Reporter, says that Kardashian will play Nikki, a new love interest for Ben Feldman's character Fred. Shooting is set for February with the episodes airing later this summer.
