Hi. I'm Kat Mykals and I think I may be a sugar junky...

I don't know if there is such a thing as being a Sugar-holic, but if there is, there's a good chance that I am one. I know sugar, particularly processed refined sugar is not particularly good for my health. I also know that I sometimes randomly just crave something sweet. I love candy. I love cookies. I love cake... If I go out to eat, you could almost bet that I will order dessert. Need proof?

Random Candy

I rarely ever buy candy because I will eat it all in very few sittings. There is a secret stash of candy in the office and if you know who to ask, you can have some. Here is the remains of today's venture across the building...

No, it doesn't rhyme but you get the idea. This was the finish to my sushi dinner the other night... The picture is a little fuzzy, but trust me when I tell you this is a little golden slice of sunshine on a plate!

Chocolate anything is delicious but I do have a sweet spot for good ol' fashion chocolate cake! Also, 2 forks... because whenever possible chocolate cake should be shared with a friend!

Even Breakfast Isn't Safe

Even with an otherwise healthy breakfast of eggs, potatoes and sausage, I still have to sweeten the deal. See that stack of pancakes? You better believe they were swimming in syrup before I put them in my belly!
