As if the world needed ANOTHER reason to question the Kardashian's claim to more than their fair 15-minute share of fame, reports have surfaced that their fashion line is being made by people force to work in slave-like conditions to make their clothes. According to TMZ, the Kardashian clothing line products are made by Chinese factory workers subjected to sewage stench and temperatures above 100 degrees. Employees, some as young as 16, work up to 84 hours a week, earning $1 an hour while the Kardashians rake in approximately $65 million a year.

Lawyers and spokespeople from the Kardashian camp have denied ALL allegations of ANY unfair labor practices in the shops that make their products. They go one to say that they have never even been contacted by the people making the allegations.

Before I graduated from college, I worked in some manual labor factory jobs, making minimum wage, and trust me, working conditions here in AMERICA aren't TOO much better. The factories and shops are usally VERY crowded, noisy, and HOT! That's part of what all this "Occupy ______ Street" protesting is about according to some. Now, that you know the Kardashian's brand coming with a "MADE IN CHINA" label, will that stop you from buying a pair? I don't think it will...
