John Cena is The Karate Teen on Saturday Night Live [SNL Rewind]

I think by now just about everybody knows that I'm a huge wrestling fan AND a huge fan of the show Saturday Night Live!  I host the pro-wrestling podcast "Post 2 Post" here on this site and I have for about three years.  I also produce the "SNL Rewind" following every live episode of SNL.  So, when I found out that these worlds would be coliding as WWE Superstar wrestler John Cena was hosting the late night comedy institution, I was beyond excited!

Sadly, while it likely had little to do with his ability, I personally thought Cena's episode was one of the worsts this season.  I think my major complaint was that Cena was constantly being written into the same role over and over again, that of a meathead jock or eye-candy babe.  The musical guest country artist Maren Morris obviously did little to add to the show's appeal for me.
