Anyone that knows me knows that I love John Goodman, and I love the movie, The Big Lebowski. The Big Lebowski has actually amassed a cult following all around the world, so much so that Lebowski festivals are held worldwide every year to commemorate the movie! In addition to that, a religion has even been created around the character of, 'The Dude' called <em>Dudeism (Of which I am an ordained minister of. No, seriously.). Needless to say, this movie is a big deal to a lot of people, and the character John Goodman played in the film was vital in making it everything that it is today. Now that you have the backstory, here's the real story:

Last week, actor John Goodman received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. One of the keynote speakers, a good friend of Goodman, and co-star in The Big Lebowski, Jeff Bridges spoke at the ceremony. In a surprising twist of events, Bridges handed Goodman a bag as he approached the podium, removed his suit coat, and pulled out of the bag the iconic sweater his character, the dude, wore in The Big Lebowski.

Goodman, obviously surprised and delighted about Jeff Bridges reviving, 'The Dude' onstage listened as Bridges spoke of him highly as an actor and human. Bridges does most of his speech in the theme of the movie in which they co-starred, taking parts and pieces from the movie and improvising the rest, fully bringing the character of 'the Dude' to life, to the delight of Goodman and the crowd.
