Jermaine Dupri pays a visit to Rap Radar to discuss his relationship with Jay Z. Towards the end of the clip, JD states that Hov has a new album on the way, and that it "might" be done already.

The So So Def CEO tells Elliott Wilson and B. Dot Miller, "Me and Jay have conversations that I'm probably sure he doesn't have with anybody." Dupri then goes on to say, "I know the name of Hov's new album. It might be done."

Of course, Jay fans have been waiting on a new project since 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail. However, that doesn't mean Hov hasn't been making moves. The 46-year-old mogul has had Roc Nation Sports, D'USSE and TIDAL - among other things - to keep him busy and his pockets fat without having to drop any music. Hov is a business, man, not a businessman, remember?

In fact, Jay and Bey were the richest celebrity couple of the past year, as recently reported by Forbes. And they're set up to make even more money this year, if they actually end up dropping the rumored joint album and cash in on a global tour.

Though he hasn't dropped an album or a 'tape in the past couple years, Jay has appeared on several tracks in 2016, including Pusha T's "Drug Dealers Anonymous" and Future and DJ Khaled's "I Got the Keys." Do his recent guest features make you more or less excited for an impending full-length project? Drop a comment to let us know what you think.
