Items Not Allowed At ShrinersFest 2018

The 2018 ShrinersFest and Air Show will be underway begining on June 28th. Here are some things you might want to know about before attending.

According to our media partners at Eyewitness News, fireworks, pets, skateboards, bicycles, water guns, and drones are not allowed at the event. This is merely for the safety of those in attendance, as the street will be crowded and those things could cause potential hazards.Police say if they catch you with any of these items, you could be asked to leave the event.

Not only that, but police  also say that bags and containers are subject to a search before, or even while, you're at ShrinersFest. However, don't let that discourage you from going to the event, as it is going to be a fun four days!  ShrinersFest 2018 is coming up, June 28-July 1st on Riverside Drive in Downtown Evansville.  Don't forget buttons are on sale now! They are $8 if you purchase in advance, or $10 at ShrinersFest, kids 12 & under are free. You can purchase your button at many area businesses, or online here.
