Is It Okay to Add Your Boss on Facebook? KISS Listeners discuss!

Recently a good friend of mine got a friend request on Facebook from her new boss.  She's only been at this job a few weeks.  She doesn't have anything to hide, but she just doesn't want to mix up her work and personal life.  What do YOU think?  I took this qustion to the Facebook page, and here's what listeners had to say!

Here's what I say:

Personally it's kind of a sticky situation.  I totally see not wanting to mix social and work life, so I can totally agree with that.  I personally think her boss adding her makes it seem a little "I got my eye on you" ya know?    I think it's one thing to friend request your boss if you're comfortable enough with them, but I think it's another for them to friend request you.  Especially when you're THAT new.  Ya know?  It's just sticky!

Crystal Healy NEVER!!! Because my work life and my personal life are two separate entities. I don't ever mix the two. I do have friends that I work with but they are at the same level of the job that I'm in.
