If you are one of the many people still needing to get an updated photo ID card or driver’s license in order to vote in the upcoming election, you are in luck. The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles announced earlier this week that they will be extending their hours as Election Day approaches.

According to a news release issued by the BMV, most branches will be open on Monday, November 5, from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m and Tuesday, November 6, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

During this time, license branches will assist individuals with new, amended or replacement ID cards, driver’s licenses and learner permits. State issued ID cards for unlicensed Hoosiers will be provided free-of-charge, as long as individuals are 18-years-old or older and can provide two documents with proof of residence.
