With their move to Owensboro now official, the Evansville IceMen are offering refunds to current season ticket holders who already purchased tickets for the 2016-17 season.

The team finalized their agreement with the City of Owensboro a little over a week ago, meaning the current season at the Ford Center will be their last. Their new home will be the Owensboro Sportscenter which the city deeded to IceMen owner, Ron Geary for $1.00. The venue will require a reported $4 to 6 million in renovations, including expansion of the floor to host a hockey rink, and raising the roof to upgrade it's current 5,000 seat capacity to 7,200. The team hopes to have the renovations complete in time for the start of next season which begins in mid-October.

Season ticket holders in Evansville who have chosen not to follow the team to Owensboro, but had already purchased their tickets for next season will have their money reimbursed by check which the team says will be in the mail by February 15th.
