How You Can Help Victims of the Japanese Earthquake
It's been 2 days since Japan was hit with a massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake which triggered a tsunami that have left hundreds, if not thousands dead or missing. And although we in Evansville are half the world away, there's still ways we can help.
Yahoo! has posted an article listing a variety of well-respected charities including the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, & Save the Children along with links you can follow to make a donation toward the relief effort.
The article also notes that Japan has often made donations to other countries when disasters have taken place including Hurricane Katrina. Even if it's a dollar or two, that's a dollar or two more than they had before.
