There will be a near total, 90%, solar eclipse on Thursday. Not only that, but it will be visible here in the United States.

During a solar eclipse, the moon actually passes between the earth & the sun blocking out all or part of the sun. On Thursday, the moon will knock out about 90% of the view here in Indiana. All of the magic will happen between approximately 4:40pm & 5:50pm. If you are going to view the eclipse, there are some safe ways to go about doing it, but please do not look right at the sun! This is very dangerous!!!

If you don't have access to any of the safe viewing methods, or if it happens to be cloudy on Thursday, you can still watch a live stream online from the Coca-Cola Space Science Center.
