There is a lot going on this weekend here in the tri-state – The Ski Day Musicfest starts this Friday with a hog roast at 4PM followed by live music and a Homemade Bikini Contest – happening through Saturday night at The Pointe.

If family activities are what you are looking for, the Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival and the Family Heritage Festival in Audubon Mill Park in Henderson, Kentucky gets started this weekend at 5PM on Friday with music by Patty Loveless and the Hillbenders.

Saturday, check out the Collectors Carnival Shows and Antique Flea Markets at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center, or head out to Ellis Park to watch the Gardenia Stakes.

Sunday, be sure to join us for the 2012 Ski Day on the Ohio on Newburgh Beach.

As always, there are plenty of local bands and acoustic artists performing in your favorite bars all over the area.
