It was a hotly anticipated musical comeback for Hilary Duff last week, and the former 'Lizzie McGuire' star took to her YouTube channel to thank all of her fans in an emotional video.

"Wow, what a week I've had," she says in her message to her fans. "I really think you guys are so responsible for this. I think I've had almost 10 million views for the 'Chasing the Sun' video on Vevo, and I can't express to you how grateful I am for all of your support and love. It's just been a really amazing week for me, so thank you."

Last week, Duff released the music video and single for 'Chasing the Sun,' the first single off her upcoming new album. The album will be Duff's first since 2007's 'Dignity' album. While 'Chasing the Sun' is an upbeat summer tune, Duff has already revealed that there will be some emotional, personal tracks on the album, including ones about her (not so) estranged husband Mike Comrie and her son, Luca.
