The River City Rummage Sale will be taking place at Washington Lawndale Commons, with a preview sale, giving shoppers early access to sale items and prices are doubled  from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, October 24 with a $5 admission, and the full sale will take place on Saturday, October 25 from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM with cost of admission only $1..  Items for sale at the River City Rummage Sale include furniture, electronics, adult and children’s clothing, accessories, housewares, and more.

“We’re so happy to be hosting this event once again for the Tri-State.  It’s a fun bargain shopping event for the public, but at the same time, it’s an event that allows us to raise money to continue with our mission of improving our community,” - Jessica Kuryla, Rummage Sale Co-Chairman, The Junior League of Evansville.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Junior League of Evansville’s mission and charities, which include providing small grants as well as hundreds of volunteer hours to many local not-for-profits.  Past grant recipients have included Little Lambs, Ark Crisis Child Care Center, YWCA, Boys & Girls Club, and Albion Fellows Bacon Center.
