The Tri-State can expect to see some severe weather on Wednesday.

Grab your umbrellas before heading to work...and go ahead and keep them nearby.

The Tri-State can expect to see heavy rainfall and damaging Wednesday and occasionally throughout the rest of the week, according to Meteorologist Ron Rhodes from WEHT Eyewitness News.

Heavy rainfall with damaging winds will move through the area Wednesday morning and again Wednesday afternoon.

Things will pick up again Thursday, but mainly for the eastern part of the Tri-State. Severe thunderstorms are also expected as a cold front makes it way through.

Don't expect to see a break from the rain until at LEAST Saturday, so keep your umbrella nearby.
