Hartke Pool Offering Free Admission for Dad on Father’s Day
Father's Day is this Sunday, and what better way to spend it with your old man then by cooling off at Hartke Pool for free!
Mayor Winnecke's office in partnership with the Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation announced Friday that Father's Day will be "Free Day at Hartke Pool" located next to Swonder Ice Arena on Boeke Road.
The first 500 visitors to the pool will get in free for a day of fun in the sun with the entire family. While you're there, you can check out the newest additions to the pool including a Frog Hand inflatable along with a Wiggle Bridge.
The bathhouse has also undergone its fair share of updates including new flooring and a fresh coat of paint over the entire facility, with the showers and restroom areas also receiving a remodel.
According to the extended forecast, Sunday looks to be a beautiful day for a trip to Hartke with sunny skies and highs in the upper 80's.
