A GoFundMe account has been created to help cover the medical expenses for Evansville Firefighter, Beth Csukas after she was involved in an accident on I-69 near Bloomington last Saturday.

According to police reports, Csukas was driving north toward Indianapolis on I-69 when the vehicle she was driving hit a slick spot, causing her to lose control and crash into an unoccupied Department of Transportation Vehicle. She remains hospitalized in an Indianapolis Neuro ICU in critical condition.

The GoFundMe was created shortly after the accident with all funds raised being given to Csukas' family to use to on whatever bills they see fit.

The Evansville Hoses Hockey team are also doing their part by organizing a benefit game for Csukas on February 5th at 7:00 PM at Swonder Ice Arena. Tickets are $5.00 each and available now through the team's Facebook page. They will also be available at the door the night of the game.
