Gather your family and friends and enjoy the this most wonderful time of the year during the Glittering Downtown Christmas on Saturday, December 13th!

The three hour event will feature a half-mile display of candlelit luminaria, the city's Christmas Tree, free hot chocolate and entertainment in the park, pop-up shops, DJ Kurbdogg and the First Presbyterian Youth Explosion Choir and Bells, Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus all the great restaurants and shops downtown has to offer.

Those activities alone are more than enough to start making plans to attend, but as they say — wait there's more!

The evening will also feature horse-drawn carriage rides through the Historic District, candlelight tours of the Victorian Christmas at the Reitz Home Museum, the Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights in Garvin Park, and the Kock Family children's Museum of Evansville staying open late.

The evening will conclude with the Evansville Ballet Theater performance of The Nutcracker inside the Victory Theatre at 7pm.
