Girl Shopping with Kat and Maddie: What Are the Hottest Halloween ’17 Costumes?

Halloween is only a couple of weeks away! It's one of my favorite holidays. I pour over my costume every year! I want my costume to be the three 'Cs': cute, creative, and comfortable.

Some costumes are more tricks than treats - you never know what size to order and if it will be quality or a polyester trash bag with slouchy boot covers... that's always a bummer. I have a strict policy to always try before I buy...

This year, I'm having some trouble being inspired... So, I called in my girls Kat and Maddie to help. Naturally, we blew off work and did a little girl shopping. We ventured out to Cirilla's off Green River Road to try on some of their costumes.

I didn't really know what to expect before we got there but walking in, I was pleasantly surprised. The boutique was classy and inviting. And, they had several of the costumes on display for you to check out as well as a ton of accessories and wigs. Wigs were definitely our favorite part. Who wouldn't want to see themselves in a whole new light - without committing?! The costumes were good quality, some were even family friendly and they had a lot of different sizes ranging from small to plus. And, yes, you can try them on... Whew!

Okay so back to my original question of what to be for Halloween. We wanted to know what are the hottest costumes this year... The answer was kind of surprising. I think the ladies had fun playing dress. And those wigs tho! HOLLA!!
