Gavin’s Most Cringeworthy Photo #TBT

Every week, people participate in #TBT (Throwback Thursday). You are supposed to post an old and embarrassing photo of yourself or a picture of you enjoying a good time with friends. This #TBT, I decided to share with you, and break down, the most cringeworthy photo I could find.

BEHOLD! 15 year old Gavin:

Keep your panties on, ladies. Yes, at one point, I thought this was a good look. Granted, I was playing on a basketball team at the time, but still, I had no idea what I was doing. Let's break down all of the things wrong with this look.

1: For some reason, I thought I could make a middle-part work in my hair. I couldn't and still can't. Instead, I ended up with these two fighting waves in my hair that looks like a butt.

2: The sly smile for was less of a sly smile and more of a "I can't live near playgrounds" smile.

3: DAT POSTURE THO.

4: I had not yet been informed that socks existed that didn't make me look like I was playing field hockey. Tube socks for life, apparently.

5: I chose the number 34 because I wanted to be like Shaq. I ended up being more like a kid Shaq's kids didn't want to play with.

6: The way this photo was taken, it looks like my leg has been amputated. That may have actually helped my basketball skills.

7: Nothing says Hoop-Star like very thin, oval glasses.

Despite all of these shortcomings, and this picture existing, I have managed to kiss several girls (and sometimes more!). Don't worry though, although I no longer pose like I'm trying to break my spine, I'm still super awkward. If you don't believe me, here is a photo of me candidly fighting a tree.
