Things got a little scary Friday night during a game between Evansville Otters East Division rivals, the Southern Illinois Miners and the West Division Slammers out of Joliet, IL.

At some point during the game, a storm came rolling in. One that was strong enough to cause tornado warnings in surrounding counties. As it became clear the game was at the very least going to be put on hold, the ground crew came out to do their thing, cover the infield with the infamous large tarp. A good idea, but apparently the storm  had other ideas.
