FRIENDS – The Weekend Binge

Yes, I'm just now getting around to watching this....

Yes, this show ended a long time ago, and yes, I thought I wouldn't really like it. However, I'm come to really enjoy what I've seen of the show so far. FRIENDS is a 90's staple and has become so ingrained in pop culture that sometimes you forget that some people haven't seen it.

The show has a simple premise: follow six 20-somethings as they navigate their lives in New York City. The show was incredibly progressive for its time and most of the episodes still hold up. Unfortunately, some of the jokes might appear insensitive in today's climate, but most of them are still funny.

I'm glad I'm taking this journey and finally figuring out why the show was one of the most watched sitcoms of all time. If you'll excuse me, I have like 8 more seasons to get through!
