In honor of our St. Jude Radiothon, I picked Mariah Carey's "Hero" as this week’s #FridayFlashback. So many families are facing the fight against childhood cancers, and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital wants to make sure that no child loses their fight. After touring the St. Jude facility, I was moved at how brave the children there are. There were so many smiles, and so much strength. Every one of those children are a hero.
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And you'll finally see the truth
That a hero lies in you
