Last week for #FridayFlashback I share the music video for Blind Melon's "No Rain." This week, it's all about girl power with No Doubt's "Just a Girl."

Before Taylor Swift was singing about her break-ups and before we had Pink to bring out our inner tough-girl (think "You and Your Hand" and "Blow Me") there was One, and her name is Gwen Stefani. She is/was the front-woman for No Doubt, and she is the queen of angsty-relationship-gone-wrong songs! I was in a Sophomore in high school (see my yearbook photo) when No Doubt dropped "Just a Girl," and I fell in love! I always enjoyed how un-afraid Gwen Stefani was to be different - to not be the typical girly-girl. She was the epitome of glam and punk all rolled into one!
