Former Woody’s/Harpole’s Building DEMOLISHED!

The semi-destroyed building on the corner of John and Main St is now totes destroyed.

The building was most notably the location of Harpoles bar and nightclub and changed its name to Woody's in 2005. In 2009, the building caught fire and has remained vacant ever since. It has remained an eyesore on the corner for almost 7 years.

The building has recently been most known for its large "TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT" sign that adorned the burnt brick wall. With today's demolition, I suppose it is time to say goodbye to the unofficial Trump Tower of Evansville.
