For Vin Diesel’s Birthday, Top Five Reasons to Love this Man, as I Do

Vin Diesel's birthday was July 18th. Here are the top 5 reasons you should love this man as I do:

5. Physical Appearance- Yes, he's buff and has slightly toasted skin, but what I really mean is HE'S BALD!  What is truly near and dear to my heart is the fact that he's an action star who pulls off the bald look so well it gives this bald(ing) man hope.

4. His Voice - Often times my wife will catch me trying to mimic his gruff voice, quoting, "Move your car!"  from FAST AND THE FURIOUS. His warm, thunderous voice just exudes strength and comfort. It's like getting a verbal man hug from your brother.

3. His Courage - He shows no fear in putting himself outside of his comfort zone. You can find him out there singing and dancing in videos that have been posted and gone viral. He's not afraid to show his family and fans the real Vin and he doesn't take himself too seriously, which speaks volumes to me and separates him from the stereotypical action star persona.

2. Characters he plays - He's been a car-boosting anti-hero, intergalactic badass, unlikely secret agent, and a soldier who dies saving a child. What man's man wouldn't want to be any of these characters?  Maybe I can't be those characters, but that is why I love to watch him and see what it would be like to be larger than life.

His Passion/Love - If you see him in a movie, an interview, or ever read his posts, you'll see the passion he has for his craft.   At times, he's even funded projects himself to see them come to life. If you hear him talk about his blood family or work family, you'll feel the love he has for the people in his life, even his fans. That is what I care about more than anything; having passion for what you do and loving the people in your life. What would anyone be without it?
