Money raised from the multi-family event will benefit families in the process of, and looking to adopt in the future.

Taking place from 7am-2pm at the church on Highway 261 and Lincoln Avenue in Newburgh, the sale will include but is not limited to toys, books, clothing, purses, tools, baby items, house wares, home décor, sport equipment, furniture, and Christmas items.

In a press release, Nerissa Foor, coordinator of the event for First Christian Church said, “This rummage sale is a great way to offer wonderful, gently used items to the community at a much reduced cost and at the same time help families who are awaiting the blessing of children into their lives through adoption.”

The sale takes place just a couple of week's before the school year starts. For those of us with school-aged kids who grow out of clothes quicker than you buy them, this event will be a good way to get some new-to-them clothes on the cheap.
