The Tri-State always makes the best of July 4th with some of the best fireworks shows around. Here’s a list of some of the most spectacular shows you can take the family to this year!

1.) Fourth of July Celebration – Henderson
We invite you to the riverfront in downtown Henderson on July 4th for delicious food, children’s activities, terrific music and topping it off with an outstanding fireworks show! Since 2002, Independence Bank and the Downtown Henderson Partnership have worked closely to provide the Henderson community with a fabulous 4th of July fireworks show!
Food vendors will be provided by Rex’s Barbecue, R&L Concessions, Kona Ice & Kettle Corn. The food vendors will open at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

2.) Evansville 4th of July Freedom Celebration – Evansville
On Tuesday, July 4th thousands will flock to Downtown Evansville to celebrate Independence Day on Evansville’s spacious riverfront.

Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. with food vendors along Riverside Drive selling hamburgers, hotdogs, lemon shake-ups, ice-cream, kettle corn, giant tenderloins, funnel cakes, nachos, fudge, BBQ, walking tacos, cupcakes, Chicago-style hot dogs, chicken & steak fajitas, and a variety of refreshments.

A jaw-dropping 25-minute fireworks show produced by Melrose Pyrotechnics and sponsored by Tropicana Evansville and your Evansville Ford Dealers: D-Patrick Downtown and Town & Country Ford will begin at dusk (approximately 8:50 -9:00 p.m.). Free to attend.

3.) Historic Newburgh Fireworks – Newburgh
The Old Lock and Dam Park will be the place to go on Saturday, July 1st for food, games, music and fireworks. Streets will begin closing at 5 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9 p.m!

4.) Celebration of the American Spirit – Owensboro
View the fireworks from the beautiful Ohio Riverfront on July 4th as the City of Owensboro celebrates the Fourth of July with food vendors and music starting at 4 p.m. Hayley Payne will take the stage at 5 p.m. to sing some today's biggest country songs at McConnell Plaza. The Owensboro Convention Center will host the 4th Fest in the exhibit hall from 4 p.m to the end of the fireworks. The Bicentennial's 200th Birthday Party will begin at 6:30 p.m with a cake and the first 1,000 people will receive a free cupcake.  Fireworks will start shooting off at 9:15 p.m.

5.) Independence Day Celebration - Boonville

Scales Lake Park will be hosting Fourth of July events June 30, July 1 and July 2. The night of Sunday, July 2nd, fireworks will be lighting up the sky.

6.) Freedom Bash – Diamond Lake Resort, Owensboro, KY

The crew at Diamond Lake camping and RV resort need more than one day to celebrate our independence. The annual Freedom Bash begins on Friday, June 30th and continues until Saturday, July 8th! The week includes a pie-eating contest, water game, and a patriotic parade around the park with the fireworks show set for the night of Saturday, July 1st.
