During the MTV Video Music Awards, two commercials aired hyping the release of Eminem's next album, MMLP2. Eminem's website had promised the release of a new single today, and at midnight Eastern, "Berzerk" hit the web.  In my opinion, it's a fresh new sound for the Detroit rapper, whom I've long-considered the greatest rapper of all-time.  At the same time, the fresh sound maintains a retro feel, with samples from 80s staples from the Beastie Boys and Billy Squire.  Producer Rick Rubin can be heard as loudly as Eminem on this track.
