Participation is limited to students, faculty, and administration from USI and UE. A survivor reception will be held at 7:00pm and anyone in the Evansville area that considers themselves a cancer survivor is invited to attend. Cancer survivors are encouraged to contact Debra Smith, our American Cancer Society Representative, at 812-475-9486 to register for the reception.
The theme for this year’s Relay is Carnival for a Cure and will feature food, on-site fundraisers, and activities all throughout the night to keep people entertained. Additionally, USI and UE will compete for the Hope Trophy which signifies which university is the top overall fundraiser. Awards will also be given to the top individual fundraiser, top team fundraiser and most spirited team.
Registration is currently open and can be done on the Relay for Life website. Participants interested in forming a team are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
