Evansville Vanderburgh County Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence is hosting a free training on the Prosecution of Crimes Against Children. The training will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the University of Southern Indiana in the Wright Administration Building in Forum 1 (FA1). Free CEUs and LETBs are available.
Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's Office Chief Trial Deputy Michael J. Perry will focus on the various statutes relating to child victim crimes, touch upon the strategies of prosecution, and things that advocates can do to help strengthen our cases, among other things.
