Nashville recording artist Michelle Murray will perform a Modern Country acoustic music set plus meet & greet at Superior Van & Mobility July 30, 2-5 pm. The event is part of Michelle Murray’s “My Finish Line” music & movie tour, sharing through Michelle’s music the story of former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt, paralyzed after a racing accident in 2000. The performance is free and a number of attendees will receive a free DVD of the "My Finish Line" film.
Michelle Murray's appearances are part of the “My Finish Line” music & movie tour, sharing through her music the story of former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt, paralyzed after a racing accident in 2000. He went on to create the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation, which works to find a cure for paralysis, and is co-owner of IndyCar team Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. The country music singer became a spokesperson for the foundation after hearing Schmidt's story, and wrote a song about Schmidt titled "It Won't Be If, But When".

A number of attendees will receive a free copy of "My Finish Line", the film that tells Schmidt's story through Murray's music.

Michelle Murray’s “My Finish Line” movie & music tour has collected quite a bit of print, radio and television publicity across the country. Since the tour began, Michelle has appeared on Fox TV St. Louis MO and on GAC Country, was featured on KDLT TV News in Sioux Falls SD and WNDU TV in South Bend IN, interviewed on KIX Radio 101.1 Iowa, WBEE 92.5 Radio Rochester NY and covered by many local print and online publications.
