In the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, global experts state that the world’s citizenry must find a way to address the moral challenges of climate change: if we do not act soon, the threat posed is “severe, pervasive, and irreversible.” But to effect global change, the most powerful global institutions must be a part of the solution and this obviously includes business institutions. Many business leaders have taken proactive steps to address climate change by switching to greener sources of energy, developing more efficient less polluting technologies, and even lobbying government for better policies.
