Grillin and Chillin bbq cookoff

The eighth annual Grillin’ and Chillin’ BBQ Competition will be held on Saturday, September 28 at Diamond Lake Resort in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned contest will have over 40 professional bbq cooking teams from a dozen different states competing for more than $8,500.00 in prizes.
The event is open to the public and offers a People’s Choice Award starting at 11:00 a.m. For $5.00 you can taste a variety of team samples and vote for your favorite, tastiest bbq. All proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
Overall awards will be announced at 4:00 p.m. in the Good Times Theatre
