Additional Information

The third annual Drumstick Dash will kick off Saturday, November 22, 2014 in downtown Evansville, Indiana and consists of either a 4.97 mile run/walk or a short course of just 1 mile.

The Drumstick Dash will benefit the Evansville Rescue Mission in its efforts to provide for the basic needs of the poor and homeless of our Tri-State community. It is designed to be a fun-filled run and walk that will appeal to everyone.

The Evansville Rescue Mission is tremendously excited to have our third annual Drumstick Dash to start and finish at our new facility which is what used to be the former Veterans Clinic, located at 500 East Walnut Street in Evansville. Here, we complete our homeless service and administrative operations all under one roof allowing us to be that much more efficient and cost effective.

It is our goal and expectation to field nearly 1,500 runners and walkers for the third annual Drumstick Dash where participants will have a chance to win a variety of awards and prizes, choose from a variety a food court options, and take home an official Brooks long-sleeve, dry-fit Drumstick Dash running shirt.
