This event is a great and fun way to support our community!!! Only $5 to get in the door. We are having a silent auction, scarf decorating contest and for entertainment we have The Pits playing!!! There will also be fire performers doing their thing outside the Bokeh throughout the night!!

Scarf Decorating Contest

What you have to do:
Make a scarf. There are no rules. The scarf can be made out of any material the creator chooses. Examples: duct tape, paper, elastics (rubber bands), crochet your own or purchase a basic scarf. Your imagination is the only limitation you have! It is not required for you to be present the night of the Bokeh Riot to participate in the scarf contest. Also, anyone of any age can do this.

Decorate your scarf:
This can be a holiday theme, seasonal theme or a crazy-fun theme you dream up! Traditional classy themes are welcome too or you may be happy with your scarf made out of duct tape and do not want to decorate it any further!

Take a picture and post on our Facebook page:
Take a photo of your finished scarf and upload to our Facebook page. If you encounter any problems doing this message Kelly Wilson and she will assist you.

What do you do with your scarf after you have uploaded your photo?
Place your scarf in a safe plastic or paper bag and drop off at the Bokeh Lounge, 1007 Parrett Street, ph. 812-909-0388. If unable to drop this off yourself just message either Janelle Stevens-Kincade or Debbie Fischer or Kelly Wilson and we will take care of it for you. Don’t forget to attach an ID tag to your scarf that includes: your name, email address and phone number.

Now what happens? The voting begins! Anyone that visits our page will be asked to vote on the scarf that they think is the best. Voting will be done by “liking” the post of the photo you have uploaded of your creation. Once all scarves have been dropped off at the Bokeh Lounge they will be placed on display and are eligible to receive votes. The voting will continue up to November 14, the night of the Bokeh Riot!

The Winner is….
Voters will be asked to consider the following when placing their vote: Most Creative, Most Festive (any Holiday theme) and Most Beautiful. The scarf that receives the most combined votes
from Facebook and from during the time displayed at the Bokeh Lounge will be the winner. A trophy will be given to the winner in the three categories: Creative - Festive – Beautiful.

Do you get to keep your scarf?
Only if you have the winning bid the night of November 14 during our event! We will be announcing the winners of the contest and thereafter auctioning them off. 100% of the proceeds of this auction will go to ARG.
