Send the kids to Grandma and Grandpa's or hire a sitter and get ready to enjoy a night out during Evening on the River in downtown Evansville.

Taking place Friday, June 1st from 6:30-10:00pm on Riverside Drive between Casino Aztar and the Four Freedoms Monument, Evening on the River is a 21-and-over event that features both stage and street performances such as live music, as well as horse-drawn carriage rides, "adult beverages", and a movable feast featuring food samples up and down Riverside Drive from great local restaurants like Schnitzlebank, Lics, Spuds & Stuff, Rennies, J. Gumbo’s, Eclipse Spanish Tapas Bar, Biaggis, Kan Pai, and Margaritta’s on the Move.

Tickets are $50 per person and available at the Keep Evansville Beautiful office on the Main Street Walkway, the Evansville Parks Department office inside the C.K. Newsome Center until Friday at 3pm, or online at the Evening on the River website. You'll also be able to purchase tickets at the gate the night of the event. Each $50 ticket will give you access to all the aforementioned activities and will benefit both the Evansville Parks Foundation and Keep Evansville Beautiful.

The night will also feature a silent auction that includes items such as a French Lick Hotel Golf Package, four IU Football tickets, a wine basket, a jewelry basket from Tracy Zeller Jewelry, and more.
