Evansville’s United Caring Services in Need of January Volunteers
United Caring Services of Evansville is seeking volunteers throughout the month of January to help serve food to the homeless and near homeless in their care.
The shelter posted the following update on their Facebook page Wednesday morning asking for interested in volunteering for lunch crowd on January 6th and 27th, or the dinner crowd on January 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 16th, and 29th.
This is not only a great opportunity for individuals to lend a helping a hand, but youth organizations, fraternities, sororities, church groups, or any type of organization that requires its members to work a set number of community service hours.
