Evansville’s Mission BBQ Offering Free Sandwiches to Military Members Beginning Monday

Armed Forces Day is May 20th, but Mission BBQ on North Green River Road in Evansville is taking the day a step further by celebrating all week long!

Beginning Monday, Mission will shine a well-deserved spotlight on a different branch of the military each day and offer a free barbecue sandwich to all active duty and veteran members of that branch when they stop in for lunch or dinner during normal business hours.

They'll end the week on Armed Forces Day by inviting all branches of the military to join them for another free sandwich during their annual "Lunch with Heroes" from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Mission is well known for their support of all branches of the military as well as local first responders in the communities they're located. Since opening their doors in Evansville nearly a year and a half ago, they've made a number of donations to local charities through the sale of their American Heroes cups, including 911 Gives Hope who most recently received a check for $16,230 from Mission during Guns & Hoses 10.
