The Evansville Police Department are rallying around one of their own, and asking for your help in his fight against leukemia.

Officer Nathan Schroer is currently battling the disease for the second time in less than 10 years. A Detective assigned to Holly’s House, Nathan has helped countless victims of domestic and sexual violence. He also serves as an associate and interim Pastor at NorthWoods Church on Evansville's east side, a job he continues to work as he receives treatment.

Clearly, Officer Schroer has a passion for helping others, and the EPD hopes the public will return the favor on Thursday, April 11th at The Pub on Division Street in Evansville. All you have to do is stop by The Pub for lunch or dinner. 10% of the whole day's proceeds will go to Officer Schroer to help his fight against leukemia.
