The team is looking for people to sell those peanuts and Cracker Jack everyone is looking to buy.

The 2014 season, which begins on May 16th with an exhibition game against the Cornbelters of Normal, Illinois, marks the Otters 20th year in the Frontier League. 20 years of players at bat and in the field, trying to score runs, and prevent the opposition from doing the same.

But as you can imagine, there's much more to game day than the players warming up and taking the field. There's a whole separate team behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly so those of us who decide to take in a game can fully enjoy it.

The team is currently accepting applications to be a part of that behind-the-scenes team, with positions available in alcohol sales, catering, concessions, grilling, ticketing, and ushering.

Pay varies depending on position, however the team is once again offering incentives to employees for jobs well done including a $25 gift card after each home series, and year-end bonuses totaling $1,000 that are divided among the hardest working employees of the season.

If you're a college student looking for an internship, the team does off paid internships in the concessions, group outings, operations, and ticketing fields with a start date of May 1st, 2014. Interested applicants are asked to e-mail their resumé and cover letter to ottersbb@evansville.net.
