Evansville Listed As One of the Most Dangerous Cities in the Nation

According to data collected by a website called Neighborhood Scout, which uses data collected from a number of sources including the FBI database, Evansville is more dangerous than 96% of the rest of the country and 98% of the state of Indiana. Based on their data, Neighborhood Scout claims that a person has a 1 in 18 chance of becoming a victim.

With a crime rate of 56 per one thousand residents, Evansville has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 18. Within Indiana, more than 98% of the communities have a lower crime rate than Evansville.

Evansville really doesn't seem to be fairing well at all.
