Evansville Shops See Increased Demand for Barbie Since the Movie Premier
The hit movie Barbie is giving second-hand Barbies new life.
My mom always to me to save my Barbies, because they would be worth millions of dollars someday. Well, I did keep a lot of them, but the ones that I have are not exactly a goldmine of money. I don't really want to sell them either, because each one is still special to me.

I checked with a few of our local consignment shops to see if there has been any increased interest in Barbie since the movie Premiered.

One booth featured this totally retro RV from 1975. Barbie always arrives in style.

Special Edition Barbie
I always knew that we had to be first in line for the special Holiday Barbie every year because again, she would be worth millions of dollars. But Holiday Barbie is just of hundreds of special Barbies that are usually limited edition.
I asked owner Daniel Barrit about his selection of Barbies and he said there are usually around 40 to 50 different dolls on the shelves. He has seen a little more interest in Barbie than usual.
