Evansville Gets a Shout Out in ‘A Christmas Story Live’ TV Special [VIDEO]

FOX aired it's highly promoted A Christmas Story Live musical Sunday night, and if you paid close attention to the lyrics of one song, you likely caught a quick mention of Evansville!

How do we know it's our Evansville? Because the story takes place in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, loosely based off the real town of Hammond in the northern part of the state near Chicago. It also helps that the song is called "Somewhere Hovering Over Indiana."

In the scene below, Ralphie and his brother, Randy, hop out of their beds and break into song wondering where Santa may be on his rounds, and how soon they can expect him at their house. Play close attention to Randy's lyric around the 1:02 mark.
