Central Dispatch is currently looking to hire full-time operators to handle receiving calls to 911, prioritizing complaints, and dispatching proper departments in emergency situations.

Individuals interested in the position will also be responsible for data entry and records maintenance, along with other assigned duties, and assisting other employees as required. You must also be willing to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as required, and exhibit the ability to work promptly during emergency's while maintaining composure during high pressure situations.

Qualifications for the position includes a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to type 30 words per minute with a 90-percent accuracy rate, as well as either one year of experience in public safety dispatching, one year data entry or other computer related function, or one year telephone operator experience.

The position pays $21.20 per hour.
