Elle Maze Talks USI Springfest and Making Original Music with Ryan O’Bryan [AUDIO]

Born in Louisville, KY, Elle Maze spent most of youth in Evansville after her family moved here while she was in the 4th grade. It was after entering a talent contest while attending Castle (she performed Christina Aguilera’s “I Turn to You”), that Elle realized that she not only had given the gift of a great singing voice, but that she wanted to build a career around that voice.
I had the chance to talk with Elle over the phone leading up to her performance Saturday evening at USI Springfest. We talked about that talent show performance, along with what to expect during her Springfest performance, and what the future holds for this up-and-coming pop artist. Check out the full, unedited interview below which includes her single, “Free From You” off her current EP available now on her website, ellemaze.com.
