‘Dump Trump’ Protest Planned for Evansville Trump Rally

Not everyone is happy to see the 45th President in Evansville.

This Thursday, President Trump will be holding at a Rally at the Ford Center in Evansville. While the event is expected to attract Trump's supporters, it is also going to attract a whole bunch of people who aren't a fan of the current POTUS.

The "Dump Trump" Rally will be taking place during the President's visit at the Ford Center on 8/30 from 5pm-10pm. The event is being organized by the group Midwest Activism.

Midwest Activism had this to say about the protest rally:

"After the last 2 years of 45, this is our chance to make our resolution clear. Let not just America but the entire world know that we do not condone bigotry, hate, intolerance, racism, sexism, ableist behavior, homophobia, transphobia or any other form of intolerance. TAKE A STAND WITH US!!!"

One Facebook user  on the official event page offered this sound advice:

"Please all That attend this event do it in a peaceful manner for all who are attending event. The safety of all is important and respect the men and women of our police force who work to to keep EVERYONE safe. Your voices should be heard from all sides"
